What inspired me
Early in the week I stumbled on this Tiktok where the creator showed one of the most gorgeous makeup looks I’ve ever seen. I was immediately inspired to try the look myself, which was extra fun because it was a chance to snag some new products that I haven’t tried before.

I grabbed the NYX SFX stick in black and the jumbo highlighters in the shades Vanilla Ice Cream and Blueberry Muffin. I’m definitely not used to using cream products on my eyes so this was definitely a learning curve, but I gave it my best attempt.
The pinkish highlighter layered on top of the black is the most gorgeous purple ever and I’m obsessed with it, but unfortunately I ran into the same issue I always do with cream eye products: creasing. I tried setting my eyes with a bit of setting power and it still creased. I’m not sure if it’s my eye shape or the skin on my eyelids, or maybe it’s a skill issue. But I do want to try again and see if I can get the creasing to not be as bad next time. I’m thinking I’ll try a black powder eyeshadow base instead and then apply the highlighter and see if that makes a difference.
What I loved
One of my new favorite small shops to buy journaling/planner supplies is Paper Haunt. I received some of their washi tape and stickers for Christmas and I loved it all so much I decided to order a few more items since they are having a sale right now.
I especially am excited about the spider web sticky notes that perfectly match the vibe of my planner. I’m hoping to use these for temporary notes I want to include in my planner or for layout planning so I can write ideas on the notes and easily move or remove them.
I also ordered their moon moth stickers to go with the matching washi tape I got for Christmas, and I also ordered some spider web washi tape. I’m excited to use it all in the coming months!
Additionally, Heretic Parfum just dropped the most breathtakingly beautiful Nosferatu candle. This is one of my all time favorite scents and the presentation is absolutely gorgeous. I will definitely be getting this when payday rolls around.
