Wow, this week just FLEW by. There was some great stuff this week though so here we go:
What I watched
I finally FINALLY saw Weapons and wow, what a wild ride. I enjoyed Cregger’s previous film Barbarian, but Weapons was definitely better and fixed all the issues I had with Barbarian. Weapons was scary, thrilling, and actually way more hilarious than I was expecting. It got 4.5 stars from me on Letterboxd.
What I’m listening to
Florence + the Machine’s new single “Everybody Scream” on 👏🏻 repeat 👏🏻
What I loved this week
Apparently the unspoken theme for this spooky season is clowns (not the modern killer kind but the elegant, antique, kind). Foxblood and RegalRose both just came out with absolutely beautiful clown inspired collections that go perfectly together.
Joel and I absolutely love the American Woodcock, it’s just such a cute and ridiculous little bird and we are obsessed with them. Like gone out in the woods several times to watch them obsessed. Earlier this week Joel found a vintage plate of a Woodcock and naturally we bought it because isn’t this just fantastic home decor??

Since Republicans decided to defund PBS and NPR, I highly recommend finding your local PBS and NPR station and setting up a recurring donation. Not only are you supporting educational public media, but if you contribute $5 or more a month you get free access to their streaming service PBS Passport! If you are struggling to set up another subscription, maybe consider canceling a streaming service run by a billionaire instead 🙂
